Ronald D. Randall

Ronald D. Randall, 89, Alexandria Bay, formerly of Liverpool, NY, passed away early Sunday morning, April 28^th, in Lady Lake, Florida.

He was born February 4, 1935, in Syracuse, NY, son of Alton and Dorothy Bachman Randall. He graduated from Vocational High School in Syracuse and then attended Glendale College, Glendale, CA. He proudly served in the US Air Force for four years.

Ron married Judy Parsons on March 3, 1962, in Liverpool, NY.

He was a manufacturer’s representative in the recreational industry.

Ron served on the River Hospital Board of Directors, was past president of the Alexandria Bay Rotary Club, where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow, and was a member of the Over 80 Breakfast Club and volunteered for several organizations. He had a life-long love for the St. Lawrence River.

Besides his wife Judy, he is survived by three sons, Michael, Irvine, CA, Daniel, Salem, MA and Richard (Jill), East Aurora, NY, two brothers, Gerald (Sue), Brewerton, NY and Phillip (Kae), LaFargeville, NY a sister, Yvonne Wilkinson, Syracuse, NY and four grandchildren, Sarah, Edward, Eleanor and Harlan Randall.

He was predeceased by a brother, John Randall and a sister, Patricia O’Connor.

Calling hours will be held Monday, May 6^th, from 3-6:30 pm, at the Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay. The funeral service will begin at 6:30 pm, with Fr. Douglas Comstock, officiating. Ron had requested that gentleman refrain from wearing ties to the service. A celebration of life reception will be planned for later this summer.
