Polly A. McLennan

November 23, 2017 Clayton, NY –Polly A. McLennan, 70, of Purcell Drive, passed away Thursday afternoon in the ER of River Hospital, in Alexandria Bay. She was born March 9, 1947 in Alexandria Bay, daughter of Arthur A. and Frances Simpson Estes. She graduated from Alexandria Central High School in 1965. She worked for many years for the Admiral’s Inn, Alexandria Bay. She married James F. Parker on September 13, 1974 in Alexandria Bay. Mr. Parker died on February 15, 2008. She later married Darrell McLennan on October 1, 2011, in Alexandria Bay. Polly was a longtime member of the Alexandria Bay American Legion Auxiliary and an avid NY Yankees fan. Besides her husband Darrell, she is survived by a son Joseph (Jennifer) Parker, Flowery Branch, GA, a daughter Cindy(Scott) Perkins, Smyrna, GA , her twin sister Paula(Duane)Money, Alexandria Bay, two brothers, Francis and John Estes, both of Pittsburgh, PA and two grandsons. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Michael Estes. Calling hours will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, November 28 ^th , at the Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay. There will be no funeral services. Memorial donations may be made to the Jefferson County SPCA.
