David Roberts, Jr.

David Roberts, Jr., 71, passed away early Friday morning, March 7th at his home. He had been under the care of his loving family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

He was born December 1, 1953, in Kingston, PA, son of David and Lydia Gaily Roberts. He graduated from Hanover Area High School, Hanover, PA.

He married Mary Alice Pall on August 6, 1983, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, in Lake Silkworth, PA.

Dave and Mary founded and operated the Aqua Zoo in Alexandria Bay in 1996. It was the only privately owned public aquarium in the United States. It later became Fins Eatery and Pub.

Dave love hunting and fishing, but most of all, being with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife Mary Alice, he is survived by a son, David (Desiree) Roberts III, and two grandchildren, David Roberts, IV, and Lydia Roberts.

Per Dave’s wishes, there will be no services.

Memorial donations may be made in David’s memory to Hospice of Jefferson County.
