Brent A. Reynolds, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon.
He was born March 23, 1998, in Shawnee, OK, son of Jada Reynolds. Following his mother’s passing, on July 14, 2009, Brent was legally adopted by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Linda Reynolds, who raised him.
He graduated from Alexandria Central High School.
Brent was active in DPAO programs. He loved music and playing guitar with his Uncle Reggie’s band, the Midnight Ryders. He loved swimming, drawing and coloring, playing dice and dancing. He was a huge fan of the SU Orange and the Buffalo Bills. He was an honorary member of the Alexandria Bay Fire Department.
He never met a stranger and touched the lives of many.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Linda Reynolds, with whom he resided, a sister, Alyssa Reynolds, Alexandria Bay, two brothers, Adrian Reynolds, Alexandria Bay and Jesse (Kathy) Reynolds, Centreville, AL, an uncle, Reggie Cullen, Carthage, NY and an aunt, Molly (Larry) Briere, Alexandria Bay, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his mom, Jada, he was predeceased by an uncle, Greg Reynolds and an aunt and uncle, Brenda and Tony Cullen.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 18th from 3-6pm at the Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay. A funeral mass will be held Friday, July 19th, at 11am at St. Cyril’s Church, Alexandria Bay. A celebration of life reception will follow church services at the Alexandria Bay Fire Hall.
Burial in Barnes Settlement Cemetery will be at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Brent’s name to the Alexandria Bay Fire Department, 110 Walton Street, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607.
