Barbara A. Schwind Hutchinson, 67, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Onondaga Center for Rehabilitation, where she had been a patient since August 2023. Barbara was born on April 26, 1956, in Rochester, NY, the daughter of Robert E. and Helen R. Hurley Schwind.
Barbara married James E. Hutchinson in 2019.
She was active in the Alexandria Bay community and a dedicated member of The Reformed Church of the Thousand Isles.
Barbara is survived by her husband, James, at home; her sisters, Paula Anne (Robert) Myers, Shelby Township, MI, Gayle M. (Randy) Truesdell, Alexandria Bay, and Mary Rossi, Rochester, NY, and six nephews and one niece.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 4th from 2-4 pm at Costello Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff McIlrath officiating. Burial will follow at Barnes Settlement Cemetery.
