A memorial gathering for Jacqueline P. Catlin, 82, will be held Saturday, June 9th, beginning at 12 noon, in the pavilion, at the Scenic View Park, on the waterfront, in Alexandria Bay.
Pastor Jeff McIlrath of the Reformed Church of the Thousand Isles, will officiate a short prayer service at 12:30, which will be followed by a barbeque for attendees.

Jacqueline P. Catlin, 82, passed away Thursday morning at her home in Redwood, with her loving family by her side.
Jacqueline was born on September 14, 1935 in Potsdam, NY, the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret St. Clair Pierce. She graduated from Potsdam Central High School and then earned a degree from Potsdam State in education. She married Eugene A. Catlin on April 1, 1956 in Alexandria Bay.
She was a teacher for Federal Childcare at Fort Drum, retiring in 2002. Her and her husband also co-owned the Dreamland Motel in Malone, NY, and the Comether Motel in West Webster, NY.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Eugene, at home; two sons, Kenneth Catlin, Redwood, NY and Blake Catlin, Brewerton, NY; two daughters, Debrah (Michael) Heroux, Newton Falls, OH and Margo Elaine (Daniel) Carter, Bartow, FL; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Claire Pierce (Srini) Sastri, Phoenix AZ.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date to be announced.
